The Risk and Compliance Manager role is a high-impact position in which your thought leadership, areas of expertise, business acumen, and customer focus will materially influence decisions directly affecting the growth trajectory of our business. You’ll be providing guidance on risk & compliance matters, developing best-in-class solutions for our business partners, and supporting the leadership team in the implementation of a robust Risk and Compliance program supporting some of the most exciting areas of PayPal. This role will support the Commercial and Social Innovation lines of business.

• Act as a central point of contact for business partners and stakeholders across all lines of defense

• Serve as a trusted advisor, representing ERCS to the business

• Maintain key relationships with internal stakeholders in Legal, Privacy, AML, and other key risk management functions

• Work throughout the organization in durable cross-functional teams to drive results and operationalize key policies and guidelines

• Coordinate with cross-functional RCO teams to accomplish shared objectives

• Execute against the requirements of the global annual risk and compliance plan

• Support leadership and operations with problem solving on legal and regulatory issues

• Support ERCS to execute against the risk and compliance vision

• Provide subject matter expertise on issues and remediation efforts, inclusive of tracking and reporting

• Support and when possible, anticipate/identify/escalate risk scenarios and propose potential mitigations
