GEOINT Analyst

Key Role:

Serve as an intelligence specialist and leverage experience with geospatial analysis in support of an Air Force client. Generate, evaluate, and manage the implementation of technical requirements in response to critical warfighter needs for the Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) weapon system. Coordinate with external project managers, engineers, and test organizations to ensure timely delivery, installation, and verification of complex IT systems, including software, hardware, infrastructure, and intelligence projects. Manage the integration of new technologies from internal or external sources by serving as the primary interface for various project management offices and work on daily tasks that include ad hoc problem resolution, coordination of test assets, such as aircraft, personnel, and systems, clarification of requirements, and ensuring emerging solutions are in line with customer expectations. Ensure requirements are met during the development cycle through daily participation in integrated product teams, integrated test teams, Scrums, and other collaboration forums to identify and mitigate project risk. Conduct site visits to gather information on customer tactics, techniques, and procedures to comprehend operational workflow and identify undefined warfighter requirements, including developing courses of action and coordinating solutions to address findings. Apply subject matter expertise to identifying areas for synchronization across projects to optimize delivery and coordinate with internal project managers and teams to reduce schedule and cost while enhancing the performance of multiple projects. This position is located in San Antonio, TX.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with intelligence, including GEOINT, such as producing intelligence products, comprehending intelligence issues and Air Force affairs, and working on a weapon system

-Experience with Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, and team collaborations tools, including Confluence

-Experience with imagery or FMV exploitation, image processing, various GEOINT exploitation and processing programs, remote sensing, and various SAR, EO, IR, MSI, or FMV phenomenologies

-Knowledge of basic network infrastructure concepts, including UNIX, Linux, Cisco, or Windows based computer technologies

-TS/SCI clearance

-AA or AS degree

-AF Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) Crew Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with MAJCOM-level intelligence systems requirements management and integration of new technologies into a complex IT base weapon system

-Experience with basic Agile and Waterfall project management concepts and Air Force acquisition process

-Experience with ArcGIS, SOCET GXP, ENVI, Imagery Exploitation Support System (IESS), Falcon View, Common Sensor Planner (CSP), Enterprise Collection Planner (ECP), Google Earth, mIRC, Intelink, Image Product Libraries (IPL), and other appropriate software to analyze and process geospatial data

-Experience with naval, maritime, and Forces a plus

-BA or BS degree preferred
